Voice Of Mississauga aims to bridge the gap and empower residents to speak up, be heard, and engage meaningfully in civic matters. The low voter turnout across various elections highlights the urgency for active participation and accountability. By providing a platform for all voices to be heard, we aspire to promote dialogue, understanding, and collaboration among residents and representatives alike. In addition to celebrating the inspiring success stories of immigrants that call Mississauga home, Voice Of Mississauga is thrilled to introduce a range of initiatives aimed at enriching community engagement: Podcast Series: Engaging discussions with residents, local businesses, and representatives from bodies such as the council, school boards, healthcare sector, and law enforcement to facilitate informative conversations and bridge connections within the community. Community Engagement Events: Hosting events that bring residents together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and foster a sense of unity and belonging. Debate Competitions and Workshops for Youth: Empowering the next generation of leaders by providing platforms for expression, debate, and growth. “Voice Of Mississauga is more than a platform; it's a movement towards a more inclusive and empowered community.
